Default Unreleased Music Score

I've scoured Tomb Raider Legend over and over again. Looking for hidden dialogue, hidden visual details, behind the scenes stuff, story details left on the cutting room floor, you name it. Even when I think I've reached the end of discovering more about the game, I never thought about the soundtrack - turns out quite a lot never made it in to the game too from the TRL wiki page. I did a little youtube search and found these.

Seriously one of my favourite soundtracks for a game ever.

Thank you, they sound really good !
It really is my fav TR soundtrack and I think it's better in terms of creativity than the AOD one which is highly over-rated imo

There's those two tracks from the PSP version, and this "Rolling Demo" track...

(download link available in the comments on that video)

...which is apparently not the same as the one they used for the Takamoto fight in the PSP version, but I can't quite tell the difference, at least not while listening to it in-game.

(if only someone were able to rip the music files from the PSP version; I've tried to myself but it seems to not be possible with the current tools that we have )

There's also these two tracks, which Gh0stBlade extracted from a beta build of Legend:

(^ this one can also be heard in the PS2 demo AFAIK)

That's the extent of what we have. I would love if we were able to get some more unreleased music though, whether from Troels himself or from Crystal, perhaps for the Legend month of the ongoing celebrations.

The TRL soundtrack is ****ing incredible.

EDIT: It seems like there are further differences in the beta soundtrack, in this scene for example.

I don't think this track was used anywhere in the final game, though I could be wrong about that...

Yay, I love finding unreleased score from Legend, does anyone have the voice lines available to share/download?

i asked ed perkins if he could somehow get a release rolling since he is the only tr person you can get a hold off. though who knows if he will be able to do anything since it is something completely out of the work he is doing for the TR IP

Those are pretty good. The first is better. Shame they never got added into the main game. I wonder who composed them, maybe or maybe not Troels. The TRL tracks are pretty epic, for sure.

Meghan did say during the TR1 stream they're trying to get the game soundtracks onto streaming, perhaps these will be included as bonus tracks?

They have a similar style, and it uses the same samples as used in other TRL tracks, so I think these are also his.

that is good, hopefully they will release complete versions. all their official releases are quite barebones.
