The industry? Do you mean only the cinema? I'd imagine there would be an interest to have Lara Croft standing by a christmas tree, recreating iconic renders on film? But it wouldn't necessarily have to be filmed during the Christmas holidays. Would there even be an interest to? She did say that if all else would fail, the post card industry would be something she'd want to get into. Although that is in a videogame. We haven't seen a christmas motion picture Lara Croft yet.

Have you guys seen the TR movie deepfake where Alicia's face gets replaced with Angie's? It looks so real!

I saw it two days ago, I loved it. It looks great. I think Alicia's voice and Angelina's face(except eye color) fit better to Lara Croft character. I wish I could watch all movie with this deepfake edit.

I think this statement is absolute crazy but is a really interesting look at the mindset of fans where video games are their favourite mediums because when they watch movies they see avatars and not people.

It's only Angelina's facial structure on Alicia's acting I think it's not about charisma but more about how a person look.

Nothing crazy about wanting to see a different actor in a role or wanting a character to look a certain way. It doesn't have anything to do with videogames.

There are deepfakes with Tobey Maguire replacing Tom Holland in one of the new Spider Man movies, and people are saying they'd watch that too.
