The ideal scenario for me would be SE sell CD so CD can finally **** off from TR and have zero association going forward. I'd want SE to remain the property holder of TR and let one of their other studios (preferably a European or Japanese studio) develop a TR WITH creative freedom.

These acquisition rumours will never stop will they? All the studios Sony and Microsoft previously bought are independent studios with no publishers. CD is a SE owned studio.

It's hardly "insider knowledge" when Square issued a point blank statement the last time these rumours came up a few months ago where they made it clear they're not interested in selling anything and haven't even been approached by anyone

Considering the article mentions MS wanting to acquire SE studios such as iO and, AFAIK, Avalanche it seems a bit uninformed. They're not SE studios anymore. I don't think Avalanche ever was and just had publishing deals with SE.

I doubt this is real, but considering the flop that was Rise's initial release, i believe any future games from this partnership would be coming to Windows aswell, so the same thing doesn't happen again.

This is a pointless post. Unless of course you're wanting attention for being an asswipe again as usual
