Getting your mind off by doing other stuff (video games,
a movie, etc) might help. Another thing is to try your best to shut up all fear of your mom getting ill again. I have confidence she will be okay.

Just hang in there. Like Noah said, distract yourself with some fun activities. I'm wishing your mother a speedy recovery

It's late and I'm lazy, so here's a for anyone having a hard time of it lately.

I'm feeling ready for a good sleep, the heat allowing. It has been one of those days, if you get me.

Instead of us having to "watch out," stay off the site if you aren't feeling well.

Hot and irritated, this heatwave we have here in Ireland is really irritating and it's supposed to last all of next week too the sooner it passes the better.

I'd give anything for a bit of rain just so it will cool down a little bit.

I'm glad she's recovering well.
You don't need to worry so much, these things take time, and the more she recovers, the stronger she gets. Best wishes to you both.

Same here, I'm in Ireland too, its way too hot, I definitely prefer the winter.

I'm very fussy with the weather. I specifically like warm/hot and dry, Mediterranean or borderline desert climate.

The problem in The British Isles is that we don't get "nice" heat, we get muggy sweaty humid heat, because of how much moisture there always is in the air. It's uncomfortable even when it's not actually that hot in terms of raw temperature.

I hate the cold as well, so don't get me started on Winter. I'm seldom happy with the weather here (not that I sit around bitching about it, I hate to be a bore).
