I can't say too much about the FMV. AFAIK it's necessary some aditional scripiting in the PS1 version (like FMV start time and end time) but MAYBE would be it possible to add it we have the conversions tools for it.

I'm always very impressed when people convert PC levels to PS1 ! It's has always been a mystery as why they never used this as a demo for the game in Playstation magazine or something else |

Woah wait. You used NGLE but converted it to PSX format?
Afaik b122251 has only released a TR1 and TR2 psx converter. I'm intrigued!! |

NGLE was used just to "rebuild" the levels, I've used a very old version (1.0.9.13).
The tools you mentioned were not used. To convert the levels to the PSX format I've used a leaked official TR4 PSX convertor (released back in 2013 to the public) which works very different to the b122251's PSX conversion tools. The Core Design's tools works just like the tom2pc converter but obviously to the PSX format instead of the PC ones. Just like this: .WAD/.WAS/.SFX/.SAM/.TOM -> .PSX. That's interesting! I thought the TR4TR5 toolkit was redundant and mostly just source code!
Has the times been your only experimentation? I cant help but wonder about, some older trle levels and or series that may be LQ enough to be, ps1 friendly. Curious and curiouser! I had much fun with b122251s converter tools, made a few custom levels work great through it. May have to dabble on this tr4tr5 stuff again! |

There's actually very few source code lines in the package.
Yes, I have done more tests with the PSX engine besides the Times Exclusive. I've converted some custom levels and all the Level Editor included files like tut1, catacombs, etc. Last edited by TheBlueFox; 10-05-21 at 11:33. |

such as the non-addiction of the movements of the mouth of the characters, some different angles and even the lack of some polygons (such as the table, or the hands that at times disappear completely) Although I don't know, there may be some tool to convert it without using FMV. Update v1.1
Hi!
I've decided to give this project an update. I've fixed some bugs: • Adjusted Camera Angle in Cutscene (is using the info stored in cutseq file now.) • Partially added Speech Heads (just for Lara, for now.) • Fixed texture bugs. • Fixed lighting bugs. • Fixed missing triggers. Nothing really special, but it was bugging me. The download link remains the same: https://www.mediafire.com/file/l2rxr...e_PSX.rar/file Hope you enjoy.
