I feel like we've had this question a few times quite recently. Anyway, as I answered previously....
To me, Lara is an aristocratic explorer and adventurer, who whilst retaining upper class grace and manners, undertakes questionable activities in order to seek out understanding of unorthodox antiquities. She's also British, brown haired and brown eyed, and aged somewhere either in her 20s or 30s. I'll be honest though, I personally wouldn't mind some juggling of the features. I think if I were doing it, I would at this stage go for something a bit different. I don't think the current look is right for her. Personality wise, I think she should be intelligent, reserved (but not cripplingly shy and anti-social), daring and spirited. Someone who walks their own path for their own reasons. The main change I would make though is to get rid of the central core motive of being virtuous and make her more real and flawed, whilst still admirable and aspirational. |

To me, there's three iterations. Core, LAU, and Reboot. Core will always be my main fave Lara but I've always stuck by the games over the years and have always enjoyed myself. Sure, I wish things went back to Core's take on her but I don't get to make that decision and I really don't see myself going away from the franchise anytime soon because I haven't been given a reason to yet, as I said I've still enjoyed the games thus far.
