Default Dx 12

Is anyone still experiencing problems with playing this game in DX12? I get 75-115 frames in DX12 1440P high setting but frequent crashes DXGI error device hung. I do not get this in DX11 but my frames drop 30-70. I have tried all kinds of "fixes", settings in game, windows, and my BIOS. Just curious if anyone may have any suggestions.

Dx12 is windows 10 only

Have you tried capping the framerate to 60?
Or apply vsync?

Yep, tried that. I have tried different graphics drivers, all variations of settings in game and windows. Nothing works.

Yep, tried the newest ones. Used DDU safe mode to uninstall old drivers first as I always do. There are 5 drivers now I can use with a RTX 3060 and I have tried all of them.

I remember having similar problems right when Shadow came out - if I remember correctly, that bug was fixed with a hotfix driver update back then. Looks like Nividia has a regression in their drivers that prevents shadow from running smoothly (which is kinda interesting, though - as many hardware reviewers still use SOTTR as a baseline for their tests - they should have noticed if something was wrong there...)

Well I am an idiot. Turns out I had a bad stick of ram. I ran memtes86 3 times with no errors. Tried taking 2 of 4 sticks out and got crashes even faster in any DX12 game. Swapped out with the other 2 sticks and no issues whatsoever. Thanks for everyone's reply's though.
