I've been watching American Horror Story, both season 1 and 2.

I'm on the last episode of season 2 now, and I've become so attached to these characters that it's too much. I'm literally in tears over this episode and I don't even know why.

Just watched 'Poltegeist' on TCM.

You forget just how truly annoying the endless calls of 'Carol-Anne' are throughout all three Poltergeist films. Can someone not teach that idiot child to stop walking towards supernatural entities, FFS?

Life of Pi

A very aesthetically and soulfully beautiful film. The story is great, the visuals are stunning, the music and sound compliment everything, and the direction is Oscar worthy. It's my #3 favorite film of 2012, but if it won every Oscar it was nominated for, then I think it would be very cool.

I hope it gets Best Director, as Steven Spielberg should not be awarded for that crapfest that is Lincoln, and he seems to be a big contender to win.

I concur! Resembled something that was thrown together just for the sake of getting a movie out. Extremely one note to say the least.
