Just finished Futurama Season 3 Episode 1: Amazon Women in the Mood.
This is probably the most well known episode. It's one of my favorites as well. |

Futurama is my Xanax.
Finished season 4 of Only Murders in the Building. Such a lovely show. Like Ted Lasso, it just has all the right feels. |

Finally watched The Substance and I absolutely loved it. The third act goes completely off the rails.

Got round at last to watching Amazing creatures and where to find them, a Harry Potter spin off film, it was on ITV2 the other night.
It was actually well acted and CGI was great. based in 1920's New York, you could see a lot of effort put into the film. Best part I thought was the secret speakeasy in one of New Yorks basements where you could get booze during America's crazy drink prohibition years. It reminded me of the Star wars Cantina bar where all sorts of crazy aliens/creatures were in for a drink LOL. I will now have to look out for the sequel film, should be able to get it on DVD. |

We went see it on Halloween night, easily movie of the year for me, it was phenomenal. The amount of emotions I felt during those two hours was a roller coaster. Last edited by DOPE; 04-11-24 at 11:52. |

That took stamina to watch it, as if I remember it felt like it was 5 hours long LOL
Best part was that guy that filled up the fuel in the oil tanker, and lived inside the tank. When he saw the flame coming down to blow up the oil tanker he was pleased his mucky life was over. Poor guy, what a way to go |

@ perryloo: Yeah, I felt sorry for that old guy too. For me it wasn't a chore to watch the movie. The world being flooded in the future is an interesting concept. Hard to believe that Tina Majorino was that young once, she was so adorable back then.

Down Periscope
Such a fun movie. Has a great cast and lots of fun scenes. Staring Kelsey Grammer as the Commanding Officer of the Stingray. My other favorite characters are Lieutenant Emily Lake played by Lauren Holly and Sonar Technician 2nd Class E.T. 'Sonar" Lovacelli played by Harland Williams. They both give great performances. It has Harry Dean Stanton as Howard, Stingray's Chief Engineer, a civilian contractor. My top two scenes are Sonar doing the whale calls. And Lieutenant Lake taking charge of getting under a super tanker. Definitely a must see film in my opinion. I think it needs more attention to how good it is. |
