Tomb Raider: Eclipse (SOTTR FAN OVERHAUL)
I am amazed there has been no discussion of this on the forums. It will be available to the public on November 7th for anyone who are interested in playing. I'm presently playing through the mod, and I absolutely love Lara with a deeper voice, as well as the fact that a lot of superfluous dialogue has been removed, allowing you to enjoy Tomb Raiding without Lara's continual running commentary. The random bits of new dialogue also include easter eggs. There are numerous outfits available for fans of the movies and old games. Lara's model is without a doubt the highlight of the revamp. I think the trailer is a little heavy on the Angelina Lara. However, there are many different skin you can choose from including outfits from the classics, unified Lara and re-imagined outfits from the LAU trilogy. I've added a image of the skin I'm currently using. The mod creator cleverly replaced all the crypt/shop outifts, which if you're playing a fresh save actually incentivies you to craft and buy outfits as it's not just a million tribal outfits. The mod also allows you to change Lara's hair individual regardless of the skin you're wearing. I think this was the level of customisablitilty people were expecting running up to the launch of the game, but were disapointed with the limited systems we recieved in the end. |

I love this mod. Been using his previous instalments for a few months now. Honestly, I can't play the game without them Just overall a better experience. Better model, better outfits, better everything really. Fully customisable to your liking. The only thing I'd change is the pitch of his voice is slightly too low, I'd like him to pitch it up slightly to a more feminine tone.

People are awesome, to be able to tweak modern games without any tools released...
This looks awesome too. I'm assuming this comes from the same project? Without UI elements and other tweaks, this truly feels like a TR game! I think SOTTR already was the best, most "TRish" game among the newer titles. But with this, just wow. |

I've got Shadow for PS4, but I was so happy to grab it on PC just for this and I'm blown away - defiantely worth it.
