Great sketches from the comics!

![]() I think people were trying to say that the in-game mentioned prophet turned out to be real - the propet Lara was looking for was Jacob.

![]() I think I got what you were trying to express: the Prophet described in the game itself isn't based on any real prophetic figure of our real world mythology and history (there is CD's inspiration, Koschéi the Deathless, but it doesn't matter), but some misunderstood your statement and thought that you were referring to the in-game Prophet not being real, which is false, because the figure mentioned exists in the game world and it's Jacob. I hope I understood it now ![]()

My problem with the comics is they contradic what Lara is like in the games. The comics are suppose to be a continuation from the games, mini adventures. Yet she looks so fierce and daring, yet the Lara we get in the games ain't like that. Yeah, she had the confidence and will but she still acts scared in some scenes. An I'm yet to see Lara standing in a cocky way with a fierce look on her face like we see in renders/comics.

^Spot on. I suppose the writers of the comics have more creative freedom since the stories in them aren't aimed at a very broad audience. They're little adventures, like you said, but not to be taken seriously and are probably not extremely canon.
Unfortunately not ![]()

Maybe if her whining was censored and she wore a decent hijab/dress and covered herself and her face by putting burqa then it won't be banned. And apparently it was banned in KSA because of the prophet's tomb or the porn-ish / +18 content. |
