Arrow Project Time of Shadows

Hi everyone!

I decided to create this new thread instead of old one because that was pretty outdated and messy. Going to show the actual and further screenshots and updates here, so this is the "official" page dedicated to project.


I hope that moderators would not mind if I reserve one more post for further info



============== Project Time of Shadows - Part 1(Placeholder for logo) ==============

Story (Part 1):
  • After AOD's events Lara had to spend a lot to clear her reputation. After selling the mansion she lives in a small house and wants to write the books again. But all copyrights belong to Von Croys niece named Erica which still blames Lara for Von Croy's destiny. However she aggrees to help to Lara if she find a worthwhile material for a new book. Lara must do her best to create bestseller, she arrives to city ***** to collect some stories about vampires. But everything goes wrong... Soon Lara understands that the vampires are not just exist, but also intend to use her in their clan wars without asking...

Features:
  • The game is supposed to be non-linear. I mean in a first level you will choose one of 3 possible ways to play. This will affect the whole game, including rewards and bosses;
  • Graphic user interface on screen;
  • Lara is more fragile than she was before. She takes damage when falling from 7+ clicks high places. Also her jumps are not that high and far as it was before. Medipacks are default due to technical reasons though;
  • Lara can fight without weapons, it is useful if she runs out of ammo which is limited. However this is just an additional option and in no way is supposed to substitute the weapons;
  • New traps and puzzles - cities have their own dangerous things;
  • Game world is as realistic as it possible on TRLE + TRNG engine. Lara can talk with some NPC characters, they also react on player's actions in different ways. New information will be added to diary which plays an important role in the story and also gives some clues.

Levels:
  • Intro Cutscene - 0%
  • Hotel apartments - 95%
  • City streets - 95%
  • Sewer - 90%
  • End cutscene - 0%

Hey ... Very impressive screenshots.
I 'm very happy to see you are nearly finish the main levels .
I also reallly like the story .

It is hard to believe this was done using only the TRNG engine!! You are very talented!
If you do not mind me asking, though, what happened to Kurtis in your story?
And about the medipacks, my computer is dead but I think I can help you if you still want to customise them.

@bigfoot: thank you, a compliment from an experienced builder means a lot
@ChocolateFan: thank you too
I would not mind if you help with healing system. Tried to replace the standard behavior of medkits but no luck. Can't use the puzzle slots as a medipacks either.

I even didn't think about him to be honest. He most likely alive and still hunts for demons I guess. May be he'll be mentioned in game.

One of my favs in my TRLE list of "can't wait to play"
Very very promising. Can't wait!

...any nearby release date? maybe before new year?? =)
