Have they made a mistake with the info?

The world’s favourite video game heroine stars in stunning scenes from adventures spanning 17 years.
As I recall, it has been at least 23 years when we had our first adventures with Lara.

Some more details, including Dizzy the egg and Lemmings

https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/51012498

I loved 'Dizzy the egg' on the Mega Drive/Genesis games console.
There was a whole series of games for this 2D platform game.

There was one famous case of 'Dizzy the egg fake news' being planted in games magazines, where in one scene at the far end of the 'map' there was a pier, and it said in the magazine (before the internet existed) that if you waited for three hours in real time, a boat would arrive and Dizzy could get to a secret island LOL. I watched that screen for hours and nothing happened

Aw, I miss Lemmings, and Micromachines so damn much. Spent so much time playing those games on MS-DOS back in the day!

That struck me as weird too but then I realised it is because the most recent TR depicted in the stamp collection is Tomb Raider 2013. So the 17 years they mean is 1996 - 2013.

What I question is their choice of images:-

TR Lost Valley/TRex - spot on.
TR3 First section of Tinnos - odd choice.
TR5 Underwater suit from Deepsea Dive - very odd
TR2013 is that actually from the game? Looks like conceptual artwork.

For the second stamp I'd have gone for one of Kali statue fights in India or, being a UK stamp, something from the London levels. Perhaps Thames Wharf with the St.Pauls alike cathedral in the background or anywhere on the Underground (Aldwych).

I wouldn't have gone for TR5 at all; TR4 with Land Rover in the desert and, more fitting?, something from TR: Anniversary instead of TR 2013.

That makes more sense as they are covering 17 years worth of adventures.
