Baba Yaga puzzle

Hello everyone

I’m new and just have my very first game console. A PS4 Pro
I’m playing Rise of the tomb raider and i have a problem.

I went in to the cave to defeat Baba Yaga. I know what to do. (Rope the witch and blast het with a vat) but i just can’t do it.

I want to leave the cave and go on with the rest off the Game and return to this cave if i’m more experienced.

Here’s where i need you help. How do i get out off the cave????

I can't remember from the top of my head, but can't you go back to where Nadia was? Right outside I believe there's a campfire so you can fast travel.

If there's no way to go back, can you try the option to load the game on the last campfire save?

I can’t go back. The tunnel i swim true has overgrown with plants. So i can not leave the cave the way a came in.
I can not load a previous point. The only option i have is “Continue my game”
(For future i now know to make saves in between and not only trust auto save)

Oh, then I guess you have to fight the boss.

I've found this strategy on Steam, maybe it will help you:

My method on the witch is to switch to the assualt or military rifle when I am not trying to tie her to a spool. I think she hides for a set amount of time so I only move fo a few steps or set myself up to jump or perform another action. That usually gives me enough time to aim where she will be before she tries to cut the rope or throw a fire ball. After a short burst of fire from Lara the witch hides and you can have time to be ready. The other bad guys only come out when you get close enough to the next area with the spools.

You can't. As part of her hallucination, there will be some kind of black smoke or fire. (it looks both, actually)

As for OP:

Could you tell us what problem do you have during the boosfight? We could give you some advice, or techniques to help you to progress...

The only ways to get out are:
1 If you play on extreme survivor and die. It puts you back to the camp fire.
2 Delete your Rise of the tomb raider saves from your ps4 system. But there is a big downside to this. You will have to start the game from the beggining. Should not take you more than 4-5 hours to get back to the dlc starting moment. Even less hours if you dont bother with collectables, missions, challenge tombs, crypts.

I’ve read a walktrue and saw a video. But i’m not really used to the controllers yet so it takes me to much time to aim and shoot at the witch so she will cut the rope before i can blast her.
(i’ve put the settings on easy but i still can’t do it )

If i die in this mode it starts right back in the cave. So if i’ll change the settings to “Extreme” it’ll go to the campfire that would be great. Gonna try that when i get home.

I don’t want to start from the beginning, i took a lot of frustration to get to this point hahaha.

You can switch on the aim assist, that will spare time for aiming.

Also, use anything but bow on the ground enemies (unless, you have a good amount of mushroom and cloth, then use only poison arrow on them)

Once, you cleared them out, use rifle against her. While you shoot at her, position yourself near a switch (rotating rope thingys) and when she ducked down, press 'up' on the D pad. (after a while it will become muscle memory)
Shoot a rope arrow, then change back to rifle. (D pad 'down' or 'right', can't remember) When she'll try to cut the rope, just shoot at her once or twice, no need to keep blasting at her.
Once her cauldron is above to gas cylinders, release the switch. Rinse and repeat.
