If someone from german users is reading this message, please send me PM, I will reply with download link(~40MB). TombFire, see PM for link. Then if there are no problems found, I will post link in forum for everyone. thanks to gidierre for providing italian files, fixing them right now. looking for 1-2 italian testers |

Have it tested. As far as everything works properly.
»FIXED« - In the menu "ü" will not display correctly. Would be glad if you for "TR2Gold" would still make. Class work! Last edited by TombFire; 06-12-08 at 19:22. |

funny thing
instead of having it botched it oddly divides those ü's to a " plus a u otoh all umlauted-vocals so to speak, like e.g. ü (alt+129 for me if I want it) ä (alt+132) etc. are just outside the 0 to 127 range "normal" ascii codes, so they're 16 bit unicode values I sure have no German layout myself, I guess it boils down to what character set you use, don't you think ? What's weird to me is this partition, since (" + u) hardly equals (ü) so where on earth is that supposed to come from |

TombFire, just one thought
WARNING : BRAINLESS ALERT (do you remember Donnie Darko ?) don't you think that by that cryptic message you received zur "uck zum Hauptmen" u(nd) [truncated] and I'm sure if Lewis Carroll was still with us, he would agree, it might imply that either Lara or Someone among the Powers that be was subtly prompting you to go to Uck (?) zum Hauptmen, wherever Uck and that Hauptmen region may be (I'm no expert in German geography, geomancy and/or toponymy, you tell me where that would be) |

Brilliant patch, looking forward to the TR2 Gold patch. This will enable me to replace the MP3s and add in my own soundtrack.

From my German classes, I believe "zurück zum Hauptmenü" means "back to the main menu" ("zum" is a contraction of "zu dem", meaning "to the", where "dem" is the objective masculine case for "der"). So some quirk has split the umlauts from their u's.
Oh, sorry, did I ignore the Brainless Alert? Last edited by rr_carroll; 15-12-08 at 22:36. |
