Arrow GOG.com just implemented a 30 day non-restricted Game return Policy

This is huge news:

To put it all in layman's terms, you can return any game that you have purchased from GOG.com without any restrictions on how much time you have spent playing the game.

They call it their Halo Policy, where the entire system is built upon trust. Customers are trusted to not take advantage of the system and to not be complete and utter douchebags by returning games that they have finished.

Its an ambitious proposal to say the least and I seriously want this policy to work out for them.

What do you think? Are they playing with fire with this new policy of theirs (especially when you consider that this might not go over so well with already established policies of many Video Game publishers out there.)
I am sorry for not offending you. Please be patient. I'll get to you shortly.

Isn't 30 days a bit too generous?

CD Projekt Red would be able to afford the potential losses of something like this, so of course they're happy to try it out - either way it's worth all the ass-kissing they're about to receive.

Considering GOG is completely DRM-free, it'll be interesting to see how/if this is going to exacerbate piracy.
