Just in case nobody here has seen it yet, Konrad Majewski has just released a fantastic custom model mod for Tomb Raider Anniversary!

But how can I install it?

edit: Oh:

This year, thanks to the fans, we got our hands on the TR: Anniversary Edition files, so we were able to extract models from it. So here's TRAE Lara's model in TRA.

INSTALLATION

1) Install TheIndra's TRAE Hook from his Github: TRAE Hook by TheIndra https://github.com/TheIndra55/TRAE-menu-hook/releases

2) Unpack the downloaded .7z file containing the .drm files.

3) Create a folder at the root of your disk \trae\units on which the game
is installed for example D:\trae\units and add the .drm file in there.

Enjoy!
Unfortunately it looks too complicated.

Not complicated at all should take no longer than a few minutes.

The final step you shared is now different (and easier) to what you quoted.

1. Extract the hook tool download into the anniversary game folder - including the extra bink32 dll file.

2. Create an empty folder named "mods" in the same directory. Place the extracted mod "drm" files into that new folder.

Run the game it's awesome!

It's not working. Got the hook debug menu working - even have reshader working but with the drm files in a mods folder I have nothing (STEAM version!).

edit: got it working by doing the TRAE UNITS thing not the mods folder.

It was for me at first lol. Pissed me off

To the noobs:

Download and extract TRAE-Menu-Hook files to D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider Anniversary
Repeat for the binkw32.dll file
Create a folder in the TR directory, mine looks like D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider Anniversary\mods
Download and extract the lara.drm file from which ever mod you download from Nexus into the new mods folder
Start the game and select a level and the outfit should appear.

You can't mix and match mods either, I tried. Like changing lara.drm to lara_aod.drm glitched the outfit

I'd love to play with Konrads mod, but for some reason I cant make it work. Anyone got any tips?

As far as I can tell I've done everything right, the menu hook 'seems' to work but the character model isn't changing.

Even copied someone else's (who I trust!) install with it working, but still nothing.

Tried both "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider Anniversary\mods" and "D:\trae\units" methods

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't know what I did but it suddenly started working!

If someone ever finds a way how to replace next gen models in Legend, it'd be pretty cool to play the game with this
What a coincidence! I also worked on a next gen version of Anni Lara! Here's what i did :P
I made a mix between PC and PS3 textures, and made my own normals because Legend's are gross.
