The game gets released in less than two weeks. You'd think they'd start 'promo-ing' other than online. I wonder what Square did with the checks they cashed from MS. Probably poured it into FF7 Remake.

^ Microsoft are the ones doing the promo. And to say they have done a terrible job is putting it lightly. SE is just sitting on their asses doing nothing in regards to TR, as usual.

Because they're not in competition with Uncharted anymore so maybe they don't feel the need to promote this game as heavily as they would have if UC was releasing at about the same time. Or maybe because they already know this deal was the wrong move and they don't want to waste more money on a huge advertisement campaign.

Rise releases in less than a fortnight and I wouldn't say the campaign has even began yet really, at least not to the mass public, sure fans are in the know but you need to get your product out there. They need to start promotion this game like 2 weeks ago IMO, leaving it so close to launch won't do this game favours.

I honestly don't think they care anymore, yes they were up against Uncharted. Uncharted's been delayed so they haven't got a competition anymore. Microsoft has Halo amongst other big titles this holiday to rank in the money, I'm pretty sure they'll just look at Tomb Raider as some sort of bonus rather than a main income.

If that makes any sense to people lol.

It makes me so mad. It seems like this is going under the radar for casual gamers. My local game-store has a huge cardboard cut-out of Fallout in their entrance way. Rise still has nothing, not even a poster. They don't even have to promote it like TReboot. Some billboard posters, a TV ad, some sponsorship and a few media mentions like Conan.

They've literally thrown Lara under the bus (a bus that should by now have a ROTR poster plastered over it). They could surprise us and last minute promotion could explode but I fear it'll be too late by then. Even tho I'm not really a fan of the rebooted TR, I still don't want Lara to fail.
