While I understand what you're saying, I don't see why a good idea should be dismissed just because other people can't resist clicking on a link. That's like saying white text is bad because people can just highlight it anytime they want.

In any case, I think even inside the spoiler threads people should use white text. It may seem like overkill but it's honestly not a whole lot of effort to turn your text white and it'll act as double protection. (So even if you accidentally or not so accidentally end up in a spoiler thread you won't immediately have all the spoilers in front of you.)

I don't think having a spoiler-thread helps much as the game will no doubt be spoiled in many of the other threads as well. Having a clearly labeled spoiler-FREE thread might make it clear to even the most retarded members of this forum that they are not to spoil anything from the game within that thread.

The problem it that a lot of people (myself include, sometimes) totally forget to use white text!

But we definitely have to find a solution; I'm going to play the game near its release, but I don't want you guys to leave this section for six months or so

Make it a rule that they have to use white texts and ban those who constantly break that rule and people will learn to use it.
