Question What do you want of the next game, exactly?

The imperative word here is "exactly", so nothing vague like "make Lara more classic" or "make her more confident". I don't want just the "what", but also the "how". I want specificity.

I'll try to be an example:

Lara Croft:

Looks:
For one of the outfits to be the classic one, with shorts, braid and backpack without it being in a low-poly old-model
Dual guns (but this isn't just looks, they obviously must be used)
I want her to do acrobatics, and I won't be specific in how because I don't care. Be it in combat or platforming, she must use backflips and sideflips for something.
Personality:
I want her not to swear because that shows lack of control of her own emotions
I want her face to look less desperate/emotional all the time
I want her posture to be straighter so she looks more composed
I want her animations to be less clunky, for it to take her less time to climb, for her to actually roll and not just stumble weirdly when dodging
I want her to be in less accidents, which means less set-pieces
I want her to not reassure herself by talking to herself

Game:
Platforming:
Consistent jump distances depending on if you're standing or running before making them and much less air-control or no air control at all
Combat:
Less human enemies, more animal and supernatural enemies.
Less combat in general.
Puzzles (tombs):
Bigger tombs, with more rooms that must be solved
Design:
No hubs or smaller hubs that are just like tombs (meaning they have mandatory designed puzzle-platforming-exploration in them)

- Less combat. I hate the combat sections in the new games.

- Platforming that allows for varied approaches, where I actually have to think about the correct way to climb up something, instead of just following the set path and pressing jump and sometimes hold when I meet an obstacle.

- Mindless 1990s fun! Tomb Raider is too silly a concept for all the depth they've been trying to add (and they've not exactly always done a good job of adding that depth). And if you want to reflect the more conscious modern world that is more aware of all the problems, well, honestly, then you shouldn't make Tomb Raider at all because the concept is kind of horrible if you take it seriously. So stop taking it seriously and give us a Lara who does this because it's fun, who carries infinite ammunition, and who doesn't need things like strength upgrades or character arcs or a meaningful backstory.

I agree that it is VERY similar to those other threads. But none of those scratched my itch and since they are all old now and I assumed reviving threads isn't ok here, I posted a new one. I wanted to try to stir discussion. I also think that it would be good a thread asking for exactitude, so we could see what we agree on, what we disagree on and understand each other better. I was and am actually curious to see how people will respond.

Basically make AOD gameplay-loop-wise, just replacing upgrades with switches.

AKA, non-magnet platforming is the vast bulk of the gameplay and throw in some proper puzzles like Blood Ties did.
