secret pickup trigger

i want to create a secret pickup trigger... meaning, when lara picks up the secret object, the sound plus the secret number in the statistics triggers.

i managed to place a normal trigger on a square... but lara activates it immediatly by standing on it. how can i have it activate only when she picks up the object? i tried placing a pick up trigger in the secret trigger box window, but then lara picks up the object and nothnig at all triggers (sound or number).

You need to select a SECRET trigger in the trigger window, then it will register and play the sound automatically.

i know that, and i've done that. but what i want is that the secret only triggers once she picks up the object. so, she can stand on the square without anything triggering unti she picks it up. is this possible with the secrets?

Place a PICKUP trigger for the item and put 64 in the OCB of the item. So you actually have 2 triggers. Example:
PICKUP for PUZZLE_ITEM2
TRIGGER for SECRET (1)
Then the PUZZLE_ITEM2 is on the same square as the trigger with OCB code 64.

I needed to do a pick up with sound (for crowbar). This helped me, thanks a lot!
