Default Update for 'Interface & Items' Package + The Monstrum Crime Scene

Hey everyone,

Today I updated the 'Interface & Items' package of the Graphics Patch with the following changes:

- Removed the previously included altered Text Cleanup mod. Previously this included a change in line length for the text in Von Croy's notebook. This isn't needed anymore with Nakamichi's Multipatcher, which finally really fixes the aspect ratio for the notebook.

Below you can see what the notebook looks like with Nakamichi's Multipatcher tweaks and my mod:



- New HD snow texture. Together with Nakamichi's Multipatcher tweaks to the snow, this makes the snow look so much better than before! Below is a screenshot:



I also added a .tpf file for 'The Monstrum Crime Scene'. It only changes a handful of textures for only the first outside area of the level, so don't expect big things here

It's not much, but I still hope you enjoy
I'm not intending to continue full fledged work on the Graphics Patch in the near future, but I'm quite certain I will finish it eventually. At the moment I'm somehat waiting for Nakamichi to either release an editor with which we can fix the graphical geometrical glitches, or for him to manually fix them all. When that would be finished one day I will probably continue working on the Graphics Patch.

Good question. I was told this patch uses a file type which does not allow for textures to be immediately retrieved, although there were some tools written to do that. Perhaps TRJTA would be willing to share them for use with TRLE

The diary is outstanding! Very nice job with those textures.
Regarding snow, I'd increase its density just a bit.

The tool is called TPFextract.

The new textures are really great. I know it's really time consuming to make textures like these, so thanks for your efforts.

I tried the game with this and nakamichi's patcher... the tool offers higher resolution reflections and shadows too and the game looks really great. But sadly the reflections aren't visible using your texture mod.
