two questions:

1)
can I prevent an item from being collected? I do not want to prohibit any key commands, however. is it still possible somehow?

2)
is it possible that an item (in this case the torch)
will remain after pickup? What I want:
Lara picks up a torch and another is placed exactly where the previous one was.

I am certain 1 is possible, because someone has made an RE style system where items can't be added to the inventory when the max has been collected (so it must be doable with your idea).

Regarding 2, there is a flipeffect that magically makes the Torch appear in Lara's hand (i've done this with buttons and inventory items). What i am doing in my next game is using a torch sconce as a Switch1 that does this exact thing when lara activates it. So it looks like Lara can pull unlimited Torches from walls

What's the ceiling climbing plugin do? I may be interested in testing that

AoD style Lara climbing animation on 4 click tilted monkey ceiling (surface or bridge object). You will be surely welcome to test.

when I add a Twoblock Platform and trigger it the collision is higher than the plattform is. its weird because there are two collisions (one up in the sky) and one normal at the platform.

Here is a picture of the TE

and here of the result (weird collision)

anyone an idea?

You're not using an Elevator script, are you? The elevator script adds extra collision 2 blocks above the platform. Otherwise, no idea what would cause this.

ah. I use this:

Elevator= 49,34,IGNORE,EF_NONE,IGNORE,IGNORE,20,51,171,52

how can I avoid this?
Or do I move that mesh in meta?

Hmmm, that could be an issue... I think whoever programmed the Elevator command hardcoded that collision into it. I always forget to mention this because my "elevators" are usually designed a box, rather than just a platform.

Ah yes I had this same problem recently. If you need to move the platform in more than one place like myself, I just used the Move Action trigger in an organiser.

The nice thing with the elevator command is that you can call the platform to any given "floor." It becomes quite a bit of work to do this manually, likely requiring variables
