Also, the lights are now out, more monsters are lurking around, and you have to take the long way to get there and back. THANKS BUNCHES xoxo”
Oh, btw the way, Isaac, I was secretly working against you this whole time. Sorry about that, but you understand right? The Marker gets with the Marker wants. I really appreciate the help, you're so dependable.

Well this is exciting. I hope it's a good remake (not that it's needed - I recently replayed the first one and it aged pretty well)

Hopefully DS2 and DS3 will get remakes too with the unnecessary tacked on multiplayer removed from DS2 and the unnecessary co-op and microtransactions and anything else that was in DS3.

Please get rid of Carver having him tag along for large sections of the game made it less scary.

Just Ellie and Isaac please.

The games called Dead Space 3 and most of the game takes place on a planet, I remember someone calling the game Lost Planet 3.

I missed being on the USG Ishimura and The Sprawl.

I'm not sure why this was needed. Dead Space 1 still plays very well and looks good.

We must have played different games.

It clearly doesn't look as disgustingly bad as, say, some early X360 game, however between a remaster and a remake, the latter makes more noise, which is ideal for a franchise that needs fresh blood.

DS1 might not need a remake, but the franchise can only benefit from it.

I agree. I think a remaster would do as much as a remake would, and be cheaper.

What would a remake do?

The game doesn't need a remake, but a simple re-master wouldn't make it look good enough compared to other games either. Maybe it'll be like Crash/Spyro.

Can also give Isaac voice acting, re-balance the game play and add more challenging enemy types. Add more stuff to tie in to the rail-shooter... Ret-con the plot to go in a different direction...

The only thing I can think of is possibly "updating" the gameplay somewhat and making Necromorphs easier to kill, a la Dead Space 3. Which I hope they sure as hell don't do. If they ruin the first game by making it as easy as 3 was, then they haven't learned their lesson at all.

But even then, that's really not much alongside a visual upgrade to justify calling it a "remake" to me. I want to be pleasantly surprised, but I'm keeping my expectations at a minimum for now.
