You guys make it out worse than it really is. The members are having a friendly discussion, nothing wrong with that. They don't hate each other

Although I must say that I feel kind of alone when I say that I love all versions of Lara:
  • I love the charm and simplicity from the classics
  • I value the uniqueness from Angel of Darkness
  • I adore the wit from the LAU trilogy
  • And I admire Lara's journey through the reboots

And I'm not even blinded just because I'm a fan. I just genuinely like all the games. They are not perfect, and each has it's own problems. But just like that, each game also has it's own strengths.

Can't wait to see where she goes next!

Same. Although, tbh, I admittedly find LAU to be the weakest set of games in the series. Still, all eras and games have something that I really appreciate and something that Im glad happened to the series.

Despite there being almost opposite ends of the spectrum in regards to what people want, I think there seems to be a general consensus here, and that is to bring back what made TR so unique in the first place. Whether it's game-play similarities like fully integrated puzzles and exploration, or the more cosmetic appearances of braids/ backpacks and rings menus, I think we all want the series to go in the same direction.
I don't think that the end is nigh for the franchise, but I do think CD/Square/Eidos/Whoever could really benefit from taking a step back and thinking about the games USP.

I know it might not have been practical, but I still wish Square Enix hired him.
