Tomb Raider Statues

So there have been a bunch of Tomb Raider statues, dating back as far as the first game. I've got a bunch of them, and I think they're pretty rad. I have photos but they're trapped on my phone, I'll see if I can get them off my phone later and upload them to Imgur or something so I can post them here.

In the meantime, I'll post some product photos and link to product pages.

My latest acquisition has been this Tomb Raider III statue by Gaming Heads, it's part of a Tomb Raider 25th anniversary diorama that has statues for a bunch of the games, and you can fit them all together to make a bigger diorama. So far this is the only piece of it I've got, but I'm eyeing the Temple of Osiris and Tomb Raider 1 parts. I can't even find listings for the other parts, I don't know if they've already sold out and been delisted, or if they haven't come out yet.

And this is the Tomb Raider 1 statue. One thing I didn't notice until it was pointed out in a video review is that the statue has her hair tied up (as the original video game character model does), as opposed to down in a pony tail.

I don't have the space for it, but I'd love to get Weta Workshop's Lost Valley statue, it's colossal.

Recently I got some older stuff though, like this Cradle of Life movie statue:

One of two statues by Varner from circa 2000 I think:

The other Varner statue has Lara in a black dress; I'm still on the hunt for one of those.

And two statues from 1996:

The other one has her blowing smoke off the barrel of one of her pistols, but I'm having trouble finding a linkable image of that one. I can post a photo whenever I get around to getting my photos off of my phone.

For you big spenders out there, there are some life size statues on eBay.

For the somewhat less spendy among us, there's the Editions Atlas line of figurines that were released in France circa 2005-2006; it was part of a subscription thing where each month you got a figurine with a magazine or "fact file" that had info and lore about the games, the characters, gameplay tips, stuff like that. All in French, of course. There were 60 or 61 figurines total (I've gotten somewhat conflicting numbers on that) and I don't know how much they cost per figurine or how often they were issued. I've got 5 of them, with my eye on some others. They span from the first game up through Tomb Raider Legend, but it seems like Legend has the lion's share of the representation (being the newest game at the time of the figurines' releases). The Last Revelation has what appears to be 2 figurines total, from what I can tell? The figurines recreate a lot of promo art from the games in 3 dimensions which is kind of neat, and they all have a sort of universal "house style" for Lara's face that seems to be in the style of the old Core games' 3D renders, even the Angel of Darkness and Legend stuff doesn't really stray too far from it.

They can be gotten fairly inexpensively on eBay, for anywhere from $15-$35 per figurine for the vast majority of them, plus shipping from France. I'm not going to post pictures of all sixty, but here's a French commercial about them and some videos of people's collections of them:

There's also the 12" figures that Playmates did alongside their "Adventures of Lara Croft" action figure/diorama line. Technically the larger figures are articulated at the shoulders and neck, and technically you can unscrew them from their diorama bases (the packaging advertised them as "removable" from their bases), but I don't know why you'd want to as the figures have sculpted feet meant to stand on certain parts of the dioramas. They did three of them, one each for Tomb Raider 1-3. The TR2 wetsuit one isn't supposed to lean so far to one side, it's a common problem with it over time. Mine was leaning pretty badly when I dug it back out of a box a week or two ago, but it was easy to fix with a hair dryer and now she's fine.

This is a lot of the statues and figurines out there, but I'm not sure that it's exhaustive. Anyway, do you guys have any? Are there any you want, or would like to see made?

Good stuff! I can't really contribute anything because I have no Lara statues of note (besides the adorable Rock Candy one) but I appreciate your curated collection because there are a lot of strange Lara statues out there

I have that one! It’s hanging out in the pic of my Tomb Raider “shrine” that I posted in the other thread.

Also, duh, I missed an obvious statue that I even own lol, the Guardian of Light statue.
