Can you climb back up in level 5?

Hi, I have a quick question about the game (playing through it for the first time).

I missed the Damocles switch when descending so restarted the level cos I couldn't find a way to climb back up to it, and then I missed it again so now I have to restart again and I suppose I will if I have to but I'm hoping there is a way to climb back up. Does anyone know?

There are ledges around the edge of the room that allow you to climb up. In fact, you have to be able to climb back up to progress

I guess you want to know how to open the locked door at the bottom(not level export), this is a relatively difficult secret.

its great to see wholesome playthrough questions like this still asked about the first from 1996. Great to see this game living on for new generations to discover and play i just wish it was more accessible for them
