I'm thinking they are casting at the minute though as Roar has been liking a few suggestions on Twitter one of which was Elizabeth Henstridge from Agents of Sheild.

She kind of reminds me of a cross between Keira Knightley and Kristen Bell, visually. She wouldn't be my first choice but I think I could sort of see her as Lara so I'd be fine with it if they ended up casting her.

Alicia Vikander just got a golden globe nomination. Hoping they will snap her up soon before she has the Jennifer Lawrence effect and gets signed to a big franchise.

She does have the traits down. She is brown haired, good facial structure, brown eyes and although she isn't British she has the accent.

I love Alicia Vikander, she was amazing in Ex Machina, but I don't really see her as Lara tbh. Still, there are worse options out there...

I just get the feeling we are going to get someone left field for this that nobody has really thought of.

I hope we get news soon although it's still pretty early.

Alicia would be solid she has two nominations for two different films.

I think I've said it before but right now I'm hoping for either her (Alicia) or Caitlin Stasey... or (although it's more wishful thinking than anything else) Emma Watson. I don't think any of them have the perfect "Lara face" but they're close enough looks-wise and each of them has something about her that I feel Lara as a character could benefit from.

They should do an animated film. I recall seeing a pretty good cgi Final Fantasy film a few years ago, if they did that the only question would be who to cast for the voice acting.

Imagine a whole movie made my Visual Works using the model they did for the Turning Point trailer that would be perfect. Maybe in his case I wouldn't mind Camilla voicing, but I'd get Keeley Hawes. I absolutely love her voice for Lara (not sure how it would work with Reboot Lara but whatever)

Yes for a voice acting role they could and probably should use a genuine voice of Lara, as the actress's looks and physical abilities are immaterial and it would be cool to have the exact voice of Lara from the game, it would really bring her to life. Maybe they should cast Shelley Blond! That would be brilliant!
