It's true
![]() ![]() I'm really just throwing out possibities.. there are so many potentials out there I have no idea why the same old standard choices keep getting mentioned. Boring? May as well close the thread and call it a day then.

Hayley Atwell seems like the only possible choice for me, thus far.
That AI manipulation that AimlessThunder posted is just chef's kiss.

I still think that Kate Beckinsale would be perfect but they'll probably want someone in their 20s

Perfect age for me is late 20s to mid 30s as classic Lara was 28 in TR1.
What I don't get is the obsession with having a young, inexperienced Lara in the last games and movie. Her athletic flips and ridiculous gunplay expertise were what make it fun to watch her work.. stumbling around with a found bow isn't the same. Give her some scars and battle signs. It's kind of like how Harley Quinn tends to look too young for someone who went through med school and became a psychiatrist on top of that. There can be overlap of physical peak and mental maturity and age 30 is a usual occurance.

Canonical in my head Lara is probably always around the 30s range, Shelley, Camilla and Jonell sounded younger and Keeley and Judith always skewed a bit more mature to me.
It's funny everyone has their different sort of imagining of their ultimate head canon of who Lara is and what she looks like. The element of mystery is probably what made her so alluring in the 90s.

I wonder if Milly Alcock is on their mind. Something about her face reminds me of those leaked concepts from Tomb Raider: Ascension.
She's a young and upcoming actress and her overall reception was positive in House of the Dragon. |

I like Milly Allcock I dunno if I necessarily see her as Lara but she is pretty and a great actress so Id be open minded, what about Emily Carey, it would be a bit meta because she's already actually played teen Lara.
![]() I think someone on here mentioned Lily James and I thought she could be an interesting choice. Again Facially I don't see much of Lara in her but she is renown.
