Ok the mystery behind Jill's appaerance resolved : she's growing much slower than others in this new timeline because T-virus whatever. Sounds really silly even with Resident Evil standard haha !
She still keep her cloth intact in 15 years ?
Wouldn't it be a little ironic if Jill achieved what Wesker was trying to obtain?

I can imagine a game with both Jill and Isabella Valentine. It would either be really good or really bad.

In terms of Jills aging, I think they can do it justice if RE9 is about all the effects that this has on Jill. Maybe she develops some kind of superhuman abilities that play into some creative mechanics for RE9.

I noticed this since the very first trailer.
However I think their rendition of a forest actually looks good for me

It's not Capcom's best. So no, it's not 60 USD worth (among other reasons).
Ah too bad !

I noticed this. Even the 'much too quick' transition from night to day on arrival has carried over. The shack in the first area, from the outside, feels exactly like the one where Ethan meets the guy with the shotgun and gets first attacked by the Lycan in Village. I said a lot back then that I really struggled to enjoy a lot of Village because I went through the entire thing thinking 'that's for RE4, and so is that, this will be reused etc and I haven't been proven wrong. I'm not against reusing assets but its a bit too on the nose here imo.

Glad I'm not the only one which noticed the movement thing. Graphics definitely aren't as refined as RE2 or Village but I do wonder if that's because there is a lot more variation than RE2 and its in third person so much more needs to be loaded in at one time. I'm pretty sure Village in first person only loads in what you're looking at and so it can look better.

Aside from the graphics I was actually enjoying what I was playing. The amount of tension in this version in cranked up several notches compared to the original. I actually get scared during the beginning cabin when an enemy cornered me and just panicked and pressed the parry button at the right time to parry their attack.

The main village though was very overwhelming, I couldn't believe how many enemies were on screen at once. I couldn't just stand in my usual spot on the roof, way too many closed the distance between me and them and I had to retreat and stay on my toes.

I'm hoping they continue to be faithful to the original in later portions of the game. The new area in the beginning was a nice touch as well so I am hopeful that the final product will be something worth playing in the end.

I liked the demo. But what I didn't like was not being able to switch sides while aiming. And that ****ing cow on fire thinking I wanted a hug and killing me.

The dog had to die so Luis could live.

As much as I love dogs, I'd say it was worth it. Luis looks hot as ****. He went to Carlos' surgeon.
