Interesting that she never said "on the next TR game" but always "on the future of TR". Makes me believe that they are writing all the canon and backstory that will be used not only for the games but every other medias.

Well having feelings doesn’t mean she has to be a mess, but yeah, I would prefer Lara keeps her head high above the water for at least two games in spite of anything they make her go through. So tired of seeing her contemplating her life every freaking decision she makes.

The focus on being emotional, relatable etc. has been an overriding factor in their story telling since 2005 and I'm bored of it now. They need a new angle. That's not to say Lara has to be a one dimensional character - I don't mind Lara showing an array of emotions, in fact Chronicles is one of my favourite classics because we get to see more of that, but I just don't want any more Lara centric stories anymore. The history we have with CD coupled with this just fills me with dread, unfortunately.

Belinda might have something interesting to offer. We wanted risks and something different. The fact that she worked on COD means she at least has to be competent right? Those games have good stories I hope. And all her ideas she said are not bad. She's all for sexy Lara. Now her definition of sexy is what it comes down to. "Lara eating a vegan burger is sexy!" and other nonsense. I'm really hoping for the best but I'm considering all possibilities.
