Well, the game was really different
The question is why the game has changed
They say it's the alpha

Really liked seeing this. Very interesting for sure. I also really liked the final game. Might have been nice to see some of the moves, etc. incorporated.

I just saw the trailer, yes I see interesting things that could possibly be removed in the beta, like the flares for example that only exist in the memories of Peru . and some puzzles, enemies too, it would be nice to know if there is such a version available as a E5 or E6 demo.

E3 demo means it is a demo specifically prepared for E3 games convention. The name E3 comes from Electronic Entertainment Expo, so there's no such thing as E5 or E6

That's why "2005" is also mentioned. Each year there's a E3 and this one was held in 2005.

this looks worse than the final game
everything looks incomplete and clunky
you might argue there's a few more plants laid around but

Interesting, would you care to explain the details as to why?

Ofcourse it looks incomplete and clunky. It's Pre Alpha...

Anyway, despite the obvious unfinished look I do really like the areas that were eventually cut from the retail game, for whatever reason.
It looks like there were some more mini puzzles there as well. Like the one with the ligths shining onto the solarpanels. The final game had more of the same "shoot magnetic grapple and pull" gameplay.
And the ruins section with the walls that break down when the enemies try to shoot Lara. There's some more exploring to do there, from what I could see anyway.

I'm really curious to know what the beach house was.
Croft Manor set on the coast? Another manor owned by the family/Lara?

I also like some of Lara's moves that were not in the final game. Some animations looked more solid, if that makes sense.
Like the wall scramble for example. You can clearly see her making an effort to jump up. She uses the wall for support way more than she does in the final version.

I'm pretty sure the beach house is just a test room like the cathedral. Soul Reaver is hanging above the fireplace, this area was not designed for Tomb Raider.

Having a manor by the beach would be a cool idea for a future game
