Sims 2 had the best gameplay, Sims 3 had the best customisation. Sims 4 has representation?

I can’t believe people still pay for anything released for the Sims 4. Have they fixed curved walls yet? Probably not. Does My Wedding Stories work properly? Probably not.

Does anyone else find it funny how excited some of the game changers (or whatever they’re called now) get over stupid things. Come on girl, it’s just a swatch, calm down

^ I watched some sims 4 build videos recently and curved walls are still a glitchy nightmare. I can't believe EA has the gall to regularly release 40 dollar expansions for a game that is now 9 years old. It's a meme at this point.
I played Sims 4 in 2020 for a week and then dropped it like a hot potato, it had none of the charm and quirks that sims 2 and 3 had, sadly.

I still dont get how TS4 is near 10 years old yet TS1 lasted 3 years and TS2 + TS3 4 years.

I wish TS2 had more years!!!!!

I think it was actually 5 for each.

My only guess is because they set out TS4 to be a "live service" game. Built to spread out the content, etc etc.

I still wonder if TS2 had gotten to have an extra couple of years how it would've been if it got a dedicated magic pack, instead of being rolled into Apartment Life.

I’m gonna break the cycle and say that I’ve enjoyed what I played of Sims 4.
Sure, it’s ridiculous with all its expansions that are crazy expensive. It’s not adult themed like how I want Sims to be (Sims 1 was perfect) but that’s okay.
I do miss some things like CAStyle from 3 or the seamless maps.

But I still enjoyed what I played. I have my gripes but I have enjoyed 4 much more than I expected I would.

I’m leaving a note for my family so if I disappear they’ll know why after I post

same, i do enjoy the sims 4 too even if it lacks in some areas compared to the other games. but the sims 2 has a special spot in my heart

I find most of the Sims Youtubers to be insufferably annoying. You can tell a lot of them ham it up to keep their partnership. Like with most things If i want an honest review or overview of a pack I will watch the smaller channels.

so i decided to play a bit of the sims 4 again today. after also playing the sims 2 and 3 recently, it does feel rather empty in comparison to these two, tho i still find the game enjoyable. revisiting the sims 3 felt pretty damn good, the only thing i hate about this game tho is the performance. jeez, no matter what i try to do, the game just won't run properly. now i know i dont have the best pc out there but ts4 runs better than it (tbh ts4 is very well optimized, ffs i even got it to be playable on a terrible old laptop a few years ago) kinda reminds me of gta iv also having terrible performance here, with gta v somehow running better

while i was playing ts4 today, i was moving the camera around and spotted this thing here, townies man, they never change lmao
