The mummy looks fine, I'd say. I was disappointed by one thing in the trailer and that was the Tyrannosaurus Rex. I don't know why that jade warrior looks like all new model while the dinosaur gained no changes except crispier textures.

Also he's acting like each game is as cutscene-heavy as contemporary games are. 90s games typically did not have many or long cutscenes. The trilogy altogether probably has no more than 20 minutes worth of cutscenes and I'm being quite generous saying 20. I think they could definitely take the graphical upgrade a lot further than what we've seen so far, but if they don't, feh whatever. It's still a **** tonne better than the current PS version we have access to. People are also forgetting we live in the era of post-release patch culture. I don't particularly like game developers doing this, I think they should release a finished product from the start, but regardless they can further improve a game post-release now. Maybe I should be more nit-picky and demanding. However considering the tone towards classic remasters, even just a lazy port of the HD PC versions to console, seemed like an absolute "**** no you'll see humility from Donald Trump before you get that from us and you can kiss our arses" when SE were in charge, I'm just grateful this is happening at all now. I want to support it. Last edited by Yeauxleaux; Today at 01:07. |
