Ah, gotcha! My bad for the misunderstanding earlier. You know what? It wouldn't be surprising if the Switch ports actually came with some new content. Considering that the original ports are quite old, it would be a nice addition to spice things up! So, in that sense, it wouldn't really be unfair.

And hey, here's some good news: it's totally possible for these ports to make their way to other consoles in the future! We've seen it happen before, where games find their home on multiple platforms. So, who knows? Maybe down the line, you'll get to experience Lara's adventures on the platform of your choice too!

I want to apologize for calling you "buddy" earlier. I didn't mean to overstep any boundaries, and I appreciate you letting me know. I'll make sure to address you by your username from now on. Thanks for understanding!

That would be cool ! For now Feral Interactive said they're busy with other unannounced projects that doesn't have anything to do with TR. I can see them doing ports of LAU in the future too, if the Lara Croft Collection paid off. Even though, by the time I guess the Switch successor will be already released haha.

The Lara Croft Collection is now available on the Nintendo Switch. The Lara Croft Collection comprises Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris and offers players a single player experience and up to four-player local co-op. The Lara Croft Collection was announced as part of Tomb Raider 25, a celebration of 25 years of Lara Croft and Tomb Raider.

"Lara Croft makes her Nintendo Switch debut with two Tomb Raider adventures in one treasure-packed bundle, featuring non-stop arcade combat and 2-4 player co-op. Leap into the fast-paced arcade combat and puzzle-packed platforming of two outstanding adventures for tomb raiders of all abilities; enjoyably easy to pick up, rewardingly difficult to master."

"Penetrate dense jungles and navigate elaborate Aztec ruins in Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light, and investigate the cursed tombs of ancient pharaohs in Lara Croft & the Temple of Osiris. Blast through hordes of supernatural foes, overcome intricate Challenge Tombs, beat high scores, and equip yourself with a massive arsenal of unlockable weapons, equipment, and magical artifacts."

"Race against time in Guardian of Light to unlock the secrets of the Mirror of Smoke and imprison Xolotl, the Aztec god of lightning and death, before he can plunge the world into eternal darkness. And in Temple of Osiris, battle through Ancient Egyptian burial tombs to reunite the Fragments of Osiris and prevent Set, god of evil, from enslaving all of humanity."

For more information, hop on over to the official Nintendo web site and see our The Lara Croft Collection section for the latest assets.

So it's out and I've messed around a bit in both games. Unfortunately the character DLC is missing in GoL but the rest of it is still there. I can't say for sure if all the ToO DLC is there because I didn't go far enough to access it but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be.

Both games run fine although ToO does almost look like a PS3 port of the game (not that I'm bothered)

That's pretty much it for now. Will start playing properly in the morning

The low poly Lara on ToO looks hilarious:

Saw on @RossKroft96 Twitter and yes, they downgraded the TR2 Lara model for the Switch version

A new meme is born?

The Lara Croft Collection is currently N°26 in the Top 30 of most downloaded games on Switch.
N°24 if we don't count demos.
