Question TR1: Doppelganger Lara doesn't move after reloading a save

So I'm in the level Atlantis and I'm dealing with Doppelganer Lara, I know what I'm supposed to do but I tried saving midway through the area and now when I reload the save (or any of my previous saves) the Doppelganger just stands still. She still mimics me looking around or pulling my guns out, but she doesn't walk. I can't target her with my guns (and she doesn't target me) either.

I'd prefer to actually beat the level rather than get this far just to resort to a level skip, what should I do? Is this a known bug?

I'm playing on the PC on the Steam version by the way.

Nevermind, I loaded a save from farther back in the level before the Doppelganger showed up and it fixed it. Weird bug though.

Yeah this is a normal bug on PC that I believe has been present since the beginning. PS1 players don't encounter it since they have the save crystal system.

Basically, you just can't save in the room with Bacon Lara until you've dealt with her, because reloading will cause her to freeze and bug the puzzle like you've described.
