Question: Is there an easy tool to use for making custom meshes for wads? I'm quite flexible in Blender and I know there is an extension that can import wad files, but I am getting python script errors when I am trying to export the object.

This method is for Tomb Editor and Wadtool but the same applies to legacy. For that you'll need Strpix and textureadd to import UV mapped obj's into a wad. The trick is of course that your texture needs to be baked onto a triangulated lightmap packed UV. As for python errors if you prefer to export with the addon, it's safest to use Blender 2.93. The newer versions aren't very fond of it. ![]()

TR1 Engine question - would there be a way to ''fake'' flame on a torch - which is very common in TR3 onwards.
AFAIK TR1 only let you do the basic one big fire sprite in the middle of a tile. Would it be as simple as reusing the flame sprite texture and having it animate onto a flat polygon. I know TR2 used fire torches in Temple of Xian's beginning room, but these may have been default size and still central to a tile (I can't recall exactly) |

Hey ! I did a a small medi pack with metasequoia, can somerone give me advices for the texturing part ? I would like to do the same or almost the same than the anniversary one, but where can i found the texture if you know and how do i texture it ? Cause one face = 1 texture and i dont know how to create a texture ?
