You may be thinking of the simple, "restore Laras uzis and revolver holsters" patch as this is indeed just the game code. For some reason, core design did not switch these "on" in final build - so when you holstered these weapons, her "empty holsters" showed instead. The level files contained the holster meshes! They were simply just not activated when required.

The addition of straps (a physical edit of textures) indeed requires individually modded level files as Laras outfit show is on a per level basis hehe.

There have been some level file mods out there to add straps to her legs! However modding built levels like this can sadly break the game...I remember one mod I tried, all trapdoors in a level were simply not there

Would it be possible to add a hotkey for switching ammo types? Would make levels like Catacombs a lot less tedious if I didn't have to keep opening the inventory to switch between regular arrows and exploding arrows

it is surely possible, I believe, but I can't really think of any good ones, any suggestions?

unfortunately no. just like the crouch roll, the animation is missing from most of the levels. TR5 only had crouch roll missing from 1 level so we just let it pass. for TR4 it's more than half of them.

How about the - and = keys? They're right beside the numbers at the top of the keyboard. Could have the name of the ammo pop up in the corner (like Grenadegun Super Ammo) and play the reload sound effect from when Lara runs out of ammo and switches to her pistols

changing ammo is really cool feature, If I remember correctly half-life 2 had you double click the number of the gun. for example pressing the number 2 twice will change the ammo of the shotgun, it will be nice to have in tomb raider 4 and 5

Troye, may I make another request, could the dynamic lighting for static meshes be made optional for tomb4/5? It would be nice to have an vanilla option for this

Hey guys, posting after a reallllllllly long time. Amazing work Troye! Until now, I used to play with a patched version where the camera didn't move when drawing guns. Is there a way to add that option?

I’ve just completed Last Revelation with tomb4 and it was an amazing experience trying out the new features. One particular tomb4 option that I've become fond of is the footprints because Lara was leaving these in the sand everywhere she went, it made the game more fun and realistic. Thank you Troye for making these features/fixes possible!

There's a couple of bugs that I thought is worth reporting:
  • During the Temple of Karnak & Catacombs levels, if the player loads/quits while Lara is underwater, the pillars on the loading screen turns green.
  • It seems the compass bearing is only correct if Lara is facing north/south, but not if Lara faces any other direction. For example, if Lara faces west, the red needle should point right but instead it points left. Would it be possible to fix the compass?
