Updating to showcase my advencement.
I literally spend the entire day conceiving this premature climbing system.

Nice

If I have the skills and knowledge. I would make Core Design version close as possible but along with new ideas and improvements, Nothing beats good old block grid system and tank control. This what makes the old Tomb raider so great.

Thank you. A grid system TR fan made would be quite cool ! It isn't my project here but I could try once I'm confortable with the engine and the tools, as well of the mechanics of my own game.

I made progression and here some new WIP mechanics.




00:00 Ledge climbing
00:14 Pick-up system
00:27 Crouch
00:38 Dynamite mechanic
01:05 Block pushing
01:22 Pole standing
01:29 Lever and doors
01:52 Ladder climbing
02:06 Health system

PS : Currently working on the zipline, pole climbing and tighrope walk. Coming soon.

I'd murder to have a TR game with this art style.
My only advise would be to start with the basics, try to mimic TR1, then add more features.

You should check this one then, it's naturally far to be perfect but it's a good start. This is the only one I played which has a gunfight gameplay.
