"breath" I'm sure Misha Green will not make Lara's family story the center of the next movie but Croft Holdings will be here and Ana too so it's inevitable they make a connection between the first and the second movie. But that's all I was rewatching an interview from Alicia and she said two times on IGN and in an interview from Singapour she wanted to go too Iceland and Greenland for the sequel. So I think it was the planned plan maybe this is changed but who knows. Last edited by Ellioft; 23-04-21 at 01:54. |

I highly doubt that as they have already set that precedence with the first film. Even if it's only mentioned, the family drama will be there.

Were you supposed to be doing something else? Totally. That week it just felt like the end of everything. On Wednesday it was like, we might lock down on Friday. I had quite a few projects, and they all just gutted out. We were doing a bit of Tomb Raider but that looked like it was going right into the long grass and wasn’t going to happen [Wheatley pulled out of the sequel earlier this year, with Misha Green taking over]. And that was an international production, shooting all over the world, so there was just no chance. And then I was thinking, is this the end of cinema? There was a flurry of articles in the press. they had planned to travel to many places. Maybe something like TR2001. Last edited by PinkyPromise; 24-04-21 at 10:36. |

Well they don't have a lot of locations in The first LC TR
UK Cambodia Siberia LC TR COL Greece Kazakhstan (I think it was shoot in Siberia) China Shangai (in studio) Hong Kong Africa I think the sequel made by Misha Green will have that worldwide flavor. I don't understand why he choosed to give up TR for The Meg 2 but oh well. I can't wait for Misha director debut. Last edited by Ellioft; 24-04-21 at 11:23. |

Ben's latest couple of interviews make it seem it was more than the pandemic that put an end to Tomb2. Sure the international travel was a huge obstacle, but it feels as if there was something else going on.
Didn't we already know Tomb2 was international? Or suspect? I know it was mainly the UK and South Africa, but other countries had cropped up, like China & Finland were mentioned, just never confirmed. Maybe they were still on the cards? Too bad it didn't pan out. I can't wait to start hearing little tidbits on Tomb2 #take 2. |
