A patch to allow Baddy 1 & Baddy 2 to co-exist in harmony in the same wad/level without any issues with copying animations or weird meshswap issues.

A patch to find a workaround for a limit of ID < 255 for items that need to be respawned using OCB 128.

And while we are at patching Baddy1 and Baddy2, if you also could teach them how to behave so that they won't fetch small medipacks.

Latest version: first post.

New patches:
  • Change pickup camera angles
  • Change object interaction camera angles

These patches allow you to adjust the camera angles of Lara's pickup animations and when she's interacting with switches, key holes, and puzzle holes. The patches work on a per State ID basis. That means they will affect every animation that makes use of the State IDs that are being edited. For a complete list of State IDs, check the patch description.

Latest version: first post.

New patches:
  • Change jump camera angles
  • Fix Lara's backstep down animation

Due to a programming oversight, only one of Lara's two backstep down animations can play during normal gameplay. This patch enables the right foot variant in addition to the default left foot variant. Check the video below for a quick showcase.

Question

I got the new patches and ticked the "Fix Lara's backstep down animation" patch.
But my game crashes when she is about to step backwards off a ledge.
Does not seem to matter with which foot she is about to step off.

Any ideas?

Have you updated "patches.dll" in your game folder? (where tomb4.exe is located)

I have.

After making a couple of changes in FLEP (ticking and unticking some of the new patches, including the step back patch) my game won't load the title.
I did not add any patches I hadn't used before. And it worked before...

Can you post the crash report?
Try to use a fresh patches.bin file and see if that fixes the crashing in the title screen.
