See this proves everything that I've been saying about the reboot. It was an objection to everything Tomb Raider and Lara Croft. The fact that yet another classic Lara Croft signature once again was deleted and removed proves every single thing I've been saying about Sqeenix, CD, and EM.
There is no longer denying that Lara Croft was changed to suit their political and ideal agendas when it comes to Tomb Raider. This proves everything. How can this be deleted? Why would this be deleted? Why is it conviently only the classic elements? We know the answer to this. |

Shame, really doesn't seem logical to cut it out. Hopefully Lara will have a braid in the next game now that she's "THE Tomb Raider", like Alicia at the end of the movie?

Legend says that the guy who made this is now dead.

Well at least they were considering it. But the problem is that they're always considering it. There's no execution. I feel like they were scared to lose the foundation of her character and didn't want to just slap everything classic on her. Which is a foolish idea. There have been plenty of prequel origin stories, and not once do they hesitate to give a character their traditional qualities in the end.

Also, none of us know the decision behind it. Coming with conspircy theories (Charmed) that they want to burry CLara is just dumb. It was their design choice. Not everything has illuminatti behind it. Design choices happen, and this is their character Last edited by Vaskito; 06-11-18 at 16:11. |

They (whoever “they” is) do seem to play it too safe regarding classic elements, but I don’t think acting like this is all some conspiracy against classic Lara and classic TR is key. |

"Oh come on you are so superficial and petty... Does it matter what Lara looks like when the whole purpose of the trilogy was to show us her defining moment becoming classic Lara? She could be rebooted as a dwarf with a wart on her right cheek and she still would be Lara, because looks mean literally nothing and we should all feel ashamed for her past sex appeal. Can't you just admire the depth of her personality?" Oh wait.... Last edited by CroftManiac05; 06-11-18 at 16:14. |

IMO, Lara's name is the biggest similarity between the Reboot and the old games. It honestly feels like an different game with the TR name slapped on it honestly. Even if she had a braid and pistols it would still feel too different. Last edited by Samz; 06-11-18 at 16:13. |

Ever stopped to consider the possibility that it was cut being part of the hair customization thing they probably never had time to implement properly ?
Y'know , logic says someone has to think about the most plausible reasons first before delving into wild ones , and in this case the same old silly , incredibly cringe-worthy conspiracy theories . They removed the braid . The horror . But then why have they used the blue top and fingerless gloves ? hard to believe no one of those insufferable demons of devs knew they were famous classic Lara accessories |
