I regard it as more of an introductory thing bit like Angkor Wat.

I will say this though, it is a very difficult level especially if you're a newbie.

But Angkor Wat is pathetic. It's for kiddies, while The Great Wall is a proper first level, like TR3's Jungle.

Ankor Wat is a training level, The Great Wall isn't. So comparing them is rediculous.

This .

TR4's TRUE first level is the Tomb of Seth , Which is better than both the great wall and jungle (although less challenging than Jungle of course) .

I didn't mean the training aspect, I meant more as in like an introductory level. For some reason I've never really regarded The Great Wall as a proper 'level'.

For the record, I don't count Home Sweet Home as a proper level either.

It's nowhere near as good as Jungle

^What about the Dragon's Lair though?

The Great Wall is exactly as good as Jungle.

There's no opening level that can beat Jungle

Boss fight levels I've always counted as proper levels. Even the hideous Caves of Kaliya.

The levels I don't really count are Lara's Home (obviously), The Great Wall, Home Sweet Home, Angkor Wat and Race for the Iris.

Can't comment on All Hallows. Never played it.

We all know Home Sweet Home would be a DLC in this day and age. So don't worry, I don't class it as a level at all myself.

Ankor watt however isn't exactly an introductory level, it's a training level. It teaches you all the new moves and makes you familiar with the older moves. Race for the Iris is more of a, right we've told you what to do, so have a practice. Like a second stage training level.

The introduction level in TR4 is Tomb of Seth. Which IMO is a worthy opening level.

Then surely you don't count Jungle as a proper level either? It is TR3's equivalent of The Great Wall after all.
