I really enjoy Underworld, it's different to the other "classic" TR games. My only real complaint is that it's too short and in many places, too easy.

In the Mediterranean area, Niflheim is probably my favourite level albeit rather easy and too short.

Thailand scenery is beautiful and Bhogavati is a decent level with the Shiva puzzle a real highlight.

Croft Manor. Only one objective - find the gauntlet. Whilst the architecture and modeling of the underground caverns was great, it's pretty boring. The highlight for me is the death of a certain annoying bit player.

Mexico. Xibalba is the highlight for me in this area. I like the calendar puzzle and the time restriction to access the entrance of Xibalba proper. The Midguard Serpent is a good level and probably a close second. Land of the Dead felt a bit disappointing following on from the previous two levels.

I really like the Jan Mayan Island section and am really disappointed that there are only two levels. Valhalla is a decent level but rather short, it could have been so much more.

Rituals Old. Way too short and too easy to complete, it's more like a cutscene.

Arctic Sea. I like the puzzle to get into Helheim and the level itself is OK but yet again, it's too short and easy. Yggdrasil is purely "get from here to there" and way too simple. I like the final level from an ideas point of view but it's too easy to do what you have to do.

To each their own, imo the game was okay, it could have used some improvement.

Okay but same tbh.
The opening area is really pretty, and that's all it has going for it imo.

I think the boat/underwater level was the most confusing of all, trying to figure out what to do, and the vastness of the ocean floor to explore.

I did like the statue in Thailand, as there was a lot of things to do in that level. Very scenic level (not many baddies).

Jan Mayen Island level was the best for me, especially the Giant swinging hammers to contend with (more baddies).

Out of all the classic Tomb Raider games, Underworld is the least played by me.

This was my first game in the world of 3D games (earlier NES of course), so I liked the game very much. But after playing other games, there are few things I wanted in this game.
I like the model of Lara, sceneries, motorcycle riding, solving puzzles, giving headshots, sticky grenades and the quest to find Thor's hammer. Southern Mexico is my favorite area in TRU.

What I don't like is limited outfit choices for each area, unsightly swimsuit (prefer two-piece) in Mediterranean Sea, no unlockable rewards (what is the meaning of finding treasures and relics) and some playable actions included in cutscenes.

I liked the Thailand level, the Manor level and the cutscenes were really fun to watch. I liked the Jungle pants outfit.
But thats about it.

So, I gotta be honest with you guys, I didn't quite dig Tomb Raider Underworld as much as I hoped I would. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Tomb Raider fan, but this game didn't quite hit the mark for me.

First off, let's talk about Lara's moves. In comparison to Tomb Raider Legend, her controls in Underworld felt a bit clunky, ya know? It's like she wasn't as smooth and responsive as I wanted her to be. I found myself getting frustrated at times when she didn't do exactly what I wanted her to do. Ugh, LOL!

And oh my gosh, can we talk about the camera? It was seriously annoying! It just didn't cooperate with me, constantly shifting in weird ways and making it difficult to see where I was going. It kinda took away from the immersive experience, you know what I mean?

Overall, Tomb Raider Underworld didn't quite hit the mark for me. The clunky controls and the annoying camera really put a damper on my adventure. But hey, we all have different preferences, right? If you loved it, more power to you! For me, I'll just stick to some of the other awesome Tomb Raider games out there.
