I hope they come to Switch, it's been ages since I last played the games. The last game I played was Metal Gear Solid 4. I beat the Third game on multiple platforms including GameCube and 3DS.

I wonder what upscaling (if any) they’ll do for MGS1 in that collection.
Let’s be honest… PS1 graphics don’t look the best on modern TVs and don’t even get me started on the controls. If they manage to swap in MGS2 controls to MGS1 that would already make it wayyy better.

You can't improve perfection
The perfect version of MGS3 already exists and it's called Subsistance.
Like seriously, MGS3 is the closest i've ever come to playing a perfect videogame in every way.

The sheer level of care, time and money Konami would have to sink into this to make it as good or somehow better than the original would be seen as completely absurd by any publisher/developer. Let alone Konami who probably have no love for the MGS series whatsoever, but just miss the money it used to draw.

There was no MGS3 on the GameCube, it was only on PS2 at the time.

What will Konami do with their other games like Silent Hill, will Silent Hill 3 get a remake I hope so SH3 is my favourite out of the first 3 games.

You're thinking of Metal Gear Acid which are the card based games.

Wouldn't mind them being ported either honestly, or Portable Ops. Peace Walker is kind of important though since it sets up everything that happens in 5. Peace Walker is kind of a given since it was already ported in the HD Collection, PSN have a description of what's included in Volume 1 and it says the versions of 2 and 3 are the HD Collection versions

I can't wait to finally play MGS1 again. It's been so long. It was such a shame they never ported it over with the HD remasters back in the day.

What does this mean? Bonus content? Like European Extreme difficulty? IIRC that was only available in Europe right?

I think it means the various language dubs the game got in different regions.

I don't care about remasters. I have already played them once and they are not worth replaying imo. They are too old gameplay wise. Controls are outdated(Worse aiming controls compared to syphon filter 1) ,the games have too much filler cutscenes&dialogues and the games are too short if you skip the cutscenes.

The camo system in 3 is also poorly designed since it encourages you to change your camo every few meters.(Which alongside the healing/stamina system forces you to spend a lot of time on the pause menu)
