They are (hopefully) looking for a Lara and not for a Angelina look-alike replacement .

She isn't an Angie look-a-like.

She looks more like Keira Knightley than Angie.

I think she is beautiful.

Also, Allison Carrol needs to stay far away from TR.

IMO she looks like a young Angelina Jolie (how much younger I am unsure) however IO'd really like her for the movie.

I'm against Gemma. I saw her in Prince of Persia and Tamara and Men, and she's really not anything like Lara Croft. Pretty good actress, but she also has a pretty high-pitch voice, a full, round face, and generally lacks the vibe that Lara Croft has to her. To me Gemma is simply a different deck of cards altogether...

I can understand the physical differences. However Gemma is an actress and must produce a different vibe for each role she plays.

She has certain characteristics that make Angelina look unique and fit Lara perfectly at the same time. Strong jaw line combined with exotic eye apperance. She doesn't really resemble Angelina, but the facial characteristics make her have similar 'vibe'. It's hard to explain it. But it's the same thing that makes you buy Bond character no matter if he's portrayed by Sean Connery or Roger Moore.

Well Gemma reminds me of the video game lara croft and Olivia reminds me of Angelina. How is one ever to choose?
