Default Last Revelation Appreciation Thread

Title says it

-Quite a contracts to TR3 themes.
-More involving puzzles.
-Great supporting characters. Von Croy and Lara relationship especially.
-Teaching me to not be afraid of the darkness but I must be prepared.

Exactly.
____________

• Lara against an evil Egyptian god.
• Lara actually has a personality now.
• Jonell Elliott.
• The story has a cinematic feel to it, perfect as a basis to Chronicles and AoD.

Brilliant game
Love the PS1 sound effects echo of footsteps and gun shots
Puzzles are brilliant
Would have loved the track 'A Long Way Up' to have been included in the game.

Easily the best of the classics. Let's not lie to ourselves.

Probably the 5th or 6th best TR game of all time. Brilliant puzzles and atmosphere!

- I know it's debatable but I like the hubs system.
- They managed to made things varied enough despite just one setting for almost the entire game.
- Best introduction levels of the Classics. Yes I can skip the cutscenes.
- Less levers and push blocks, more intricate puzzles. Even if some of them are... not really intuitive.
- Alternative levels
- Intimidated atmosphere
- The fact you don't have to be in the exact centimetre anymore to interact with things
- To be able to turn while shimmying
- Combination system
- Solid story !
