Incredible work as usual, Woops! In its current state, this is the definitive version of TR3 as far as I'm concerned.

I felt weird enough telling my friends how excited I was to have loading screens put back into TR2...how am I going to explain this one without sounding like a madman? "Yes I thought I'd disable the ability to save anywhere so I can collect bouncy blue crystals instead"

It's been about 10 years since I last played the PS1 version but I'd say this clip sums up how it felt:

I'm absolutely loving this, great work!!!

I saw earlier in the thread that dgVoodoo is still a must, I'm wondering why? I played through the main game and am halfway through TLA and the only thing I noticed was the line on title/menu screens.

I did have dgVoodoo but it made the cutscenes play zoomed out and not full screen (relating to resolution I guess?) and I decided I preferred it the other way 😂

Only asking out of genuine curiosity as I'm a total noob to PC gaming!

But I'll say it again, I'm loving what this has done for the game and I'm excited to mover onto tomb4 and tomb5 next! I definitely picked the right time to revisit the Classics for the first time in literal years. Thank you so much for doing this!!! ❤️

That's a QoL feature i didn't know i needed. Just curious, did you have to recreate the navigator code from scratch or were there remnants of the code in the original engine?

This is sort of a general question but is there any way to play with a smaller screen size but still retain the high resolution? TR1Main is capable of this but I can't seem to get this to work with the other Classic patches. I like the clear resolution but since I can't play from a far distance from my monitor, I'd like to have the screen size smaller.

I love the ability to add the Playstation save crystals. After playing through once already, it's a nice challenge, although you can still save anywhere (I assume). I kinda wish there were mods for all the games to give them crystals that worked like checkpoints as in the first game.

Does anyone know how many save crystals are in the PS1 version of TR3 total?

Have you tried the dgVooDoo? The 3rd tab forces the resolution & the 6th tab sets what resolutions appear in the game's Setup window (Both should match!).
