If I have the skills and knowledge. I would make Core Design version close as possible but along with new ideas and improvements, Nothing beats good old block grid system and tank control. This what makes the old Tomb raider so great. |

Thank you. A grid system TR fan made would be quite cool ! It isn't my project here but I could try once I'm confortable with the engine and the tools, as well of the mechanics of my own game.

I'd murder to have a TR game with this art style.
My only advise would be to start with the basics, try to mimic TR1, then add more features. |
