I'm skeptical... It looks like an awesome single player game that only last for 4-5 hours and then you finish. The environment and enemies don't seem to lend themselves for a larger (semi) open world game.

Still, I'm curious and could be wrong.

In the past we had developers that managed to make a great game even though their previous game was a disaster.

-We had Bubsy 3D team making Syphon Filter.

-We had Devil May Cry 2 team making Devil May Cry 3.

But regarding this game, I'm not sure if it ends up the same fate.

Hmmm, I'm conflicted. It does make sense that a lone guy with a rifle is going to get torn apart by the machines but one hit kills are never fun, just frustrating. I like the atmosphere though, sneaking around reminds me a bit of Last of Us and the side quests/hacking/crafting systems remind of Fallout. It could be a tense FPS horror game, or it could just be annoying. At least it seems like the auto-save is kind enough to not set you back too far if you die.

The game looks pretty much like Homefront: The Revolution minus a few elements and that game got mixed reviews at best.

The fact it has the Terminator name will guarantee at least a a handful of sales. I hope it's good.

damn I completely forgot about this one.

> watches footage

A 2006 console shooter showcased by a total noob.

It'd better be cheap when it comes out.

Looks aren't everything but this is some Oblivion level facial expressions. It looks better than the last gameplay video but overall it looks bland. For a full priced game it doesn't look up to par.

Wait, it's a full priced game?! My worst case scenario was the AA 50$ pricetag, which admittedly isn't a big diference, but it's a statement if nothing else.

The console version is priced up at 49.99 on Amazon, which seems overpriced IMO.
